Don’t Shoot the Albatross is a site for all the lovers of Beatles Fan Fiction and those who just “like it as a friend.” Previously under the heading of RandomThoughts.swia.com, this site has always been dedicated to showcasing the fan fiction of Kim and Linda.
What began as an 8th grade escapade into writing and the world of web-weaving has now come to light again to rear its obsessive and memorable head with a brand-new face. Now that I'm in the 16th grade (that's college for anyone who missed the joke), I wanted a project that would challenge my new skills in web-weaving. And of course, there has always been a soft spot for my old fan fictions, which are finally completed and in need of a new, online hovel.
Many of these fan fictions are in the process of being edited, so please allow for some slow delay. I hope that you find something entertaining on your visit, but I make no claims of grand authorship or editing ability for these old fan fictions-- I wrote them when I was young and hadn't developed my grammar or writing abilities. Nonetheless, they are good stories and a hell of a lot of fun to read.
And so, sit back, grab your mouse, and relish in good old-fashioned silliness. You might find that you like it.
